SPELLRELIC

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

The short version. Spellrelic does not collect your personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, no ads and no analytics. Nothing about how you play leaves your device.

What stays on your device

The app saves the following on your iPhone so the game works. It is stored only in the app's local storage and is never sent to us or to anyone else (apart from optional leaderboard scores, below).

Deleting the app deletes all of this. If you back up your iPhone with iCloud or a computer, Apple may include the app's saved data in that backup, under Apple's own terms.

What we do not do

Purchases

Spellrelic offers optional, cosmetic in-app purchases (a one-time Style Pack, and tips). Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details, your Apple ID or your purchase history. The app only asks Apple whether this Apple ID owns the Style Pack. The purchases do not change how the game plays.

Game Center leaderboards

Leaderboards are optional. If you are signed in to Game Center on your device, the app sends your score for the daily or weekly run to Apple's Game Center, which shows it with your Game Center name on the leaderboards. This is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we never receive your name or any other personal information. If you are not signed in to Game Center, nothing is sent.

Notifications

The daily reminder is optional and is off until you turn it on. It uses notifications scheduled on your iPhone only. No notification server is involved, and nothing about you is sent anywhere. You can turn it off in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.

Sharing and reporting words

If you tap "Share result", the result card and text are handed to the app you choose, such as Messages. What happens next is up to that app and the person you send it to; we never see it. If you tap the flag next to a word to report it, the app only copies a short note to your clipboard so you can send it to us yourself if you wish.

Children

Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Your choices and rights

We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You control everything the app stores by changing settings, using "Erase stats and streak" in Settings, or deleting the app.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever adds anything that collects data, such as ads or an account system, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated before that version is released. The date at the top shows the latest update.
